Knit By Numbers DK by John Arbon Textiles is an exciting range of 100% organically farmed Merino double knit in 100g skeins across 121 shades.
The innovative colour palatte aims to provide the precise shade required. Each colour range is available in 6 shades – going from dark to light, and each colour is given a unique number reference, rather than a name, hence the range being called Knit By Numbers.
Here at Seam haberdashery I stock just a flavour of what you can buy but I am happy to order your chosen colour palette.

John Arbon textiles
The John Arbon Mill, based in South Molton, Devon is one of only a handful of small-scale worsted spinning mills still operating in the UK. John likes to use fibre from sheep on his doorstep whenever possible and, with the help of his team, transforms it into unique and sumptuous blends in the form of yarn and tops.
The Mill was started nineteen years ago, and is based on a very simple concept – a return to old-style textile manufacture by sustainably sourcing raw fibre locally, wherever possible, and converting it in the UK into high quality tops and yarns, rather than racking up air miles by chasing the cheapest available labour.
