Cancellation Policy

At Seam Haberdashery I am eager to create a learning environment that ensures each participant gets the most out each session, this is why workshop numbers are small, with a maximum of 6 participants for all my classes. However, due to this compact size, if someone withdraws with little notice, it risks the class' continuation for the rest of the participants. 

So it is necessary to put the following policy in place:

If you find yourself unable to attend your workshop and it’s more than two weeks in advance of the commencement date, I can offer a refund (minus a 25% administration fee) or you can transfer to a future workshop free of charge.

If cancellation is within two weeks of the commencement date of your workshop, I’m afraid no refund is possible. You can always send a replacement participant in your place though – I will just need the personal details and sizing information (for sewing workshops) of the replacement.

The majority of my workshops take place over a number of sessions. If you miss a session, unfortunately I can not offer a catch up session on an alternate date. If you require further time to complete your project, I would be happy to discuss an individual class and I’ll try my best to accommodate you.

My workshops are subject to a minimum of two bookings. In the unlikely event that I am forced to cancel a class, I will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or swap your booking to another suitable class/date. I will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by me.
