DETAILS: In these classes you can be a total beginner wanting to learn a new skill or an intermediate, keen sewer who would like to improve your sewing skills. All sessions will give you the opportunity to share ideas and skills in a very relaxed environment. The aim of the classes is for you to gain essential skills needed to make a garment using vintage patterns and fabric.
WHAT’S INCLUDED? All sewing resources, including the use of a sewing machine will be provided including vintage fabric and pattern to make a garment.
TUTOR: Michelle is an experienced tutor and lectured in fashion and textiles for 27 years. She has an Honours Degree in Fashion Design from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design and holds a PGCE from the University of Exeter.
REFRESHMENTS: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at each session.
LOCATION: Workshops will be held at Seam Haberdashery, 21 Fore St, Topsham.
