Introduction to Weaving (Sun 7th April)

DETAILS: This two hour session workshop is suitable for complete beginners wanting to learn and explore how to use colour and experiment with a variety of yarns to create woven samples. During the session you will be taught how to thread a table top loom and all yarns and will be provided.

WHAT’S INCLUDED? Use of a wooden weaving loom, a range of yarns.

TUTOR: Michelle is an experienced tutor and lectured in fashion and textiles for 27 years. She has an Honours Degree in Fashion Design from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design and holds a PGCE from the University of Exeter.

REFRESHMENTS: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

LOCATION: Workshops will be held at Seam Haberdashery, 21 Fore St, Topsham.
