It's been a while since I've had the time to sit and write.
The festive season and the new year is always busy for everyone and with the windy, grey wet sky it's been so nice to have a the opportunity for quiet cosy nights in front of fire.
I have enjoyed knitting with beautiful yarns, and I am in the process of making more stock for the shop. I am also really looking forward to the arrival of Spring. Although it has been wet for days, my snow drops are out and some of my daffodils are still standing up despite the strong winds. I keep looking out of my window and long for blue skies and evenings sat in the garden.
My new found vintage patterns and fabrics have also inspired me to cut out summer dresses. Only a few weeks until British Summer time!
