This collection of fine weight silk gives a great variety of blues. The pack contains 10 x 27m skeins. Each colour is a 'plain' but has been hand-dyed. This process gives a slight variation along its length bringing a depth to any textile piece.
The fine weight silk thread has a luxurious sheen and is perfect for that special project. It is a similar weight to a single thread of the standard DMC 6-stranded. If hand sewing, this silk works well doubled to give a thicker line. It sews beautifully through the machine too – great for heirloom quilting and freehand embroidery.
