WHO IS THE CLASS FOR? Beginner/intermediate
MAX CLASS SIZE: 6
DETAILS: This class will provide you with hand embroidery skills to create your own stitched illustrations. You will get the choice of working with a wide range of threads and fabrics, including dissolvable fabric and Bondaweb. You can be a complete beginner or want to learn more techniques and processes. The aim of the session is to have fun with a wide range of techniques which you could adopt for future projects of your own. All sessions will be in a relaxed environment where skills and techniques can be shared.
WHAT’S INCLUDED? All resources including hand embroidery threads as well as fabric will be provided.
TUTOR: Michelle is an experienced tutor and lectured in fashion and textiles for 27 years. She has an Honours Degree in Fashion Design from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design and holds a PGCE from the University of Exeter.
REFRESHMENTS: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at each session.
LOCATION: Workshops will be held at Seam Haberdashery, 21 Fore St, Topsham
