Soft drapey British Bluefaced Leicester wool blended with silk. This yarn comes in balls meaning you can cast on immediately. This yarn is so light to wear, and yet lovely and warm and hardwearing with gorgeous, rich depth of colour. It’s great for a really wide range of projects, and being machine washable makes it potentially a bit more practical, particularly for socks.

We recommend that If you are planning to use a dark colour with a pale colour to make a swatch with them both and wash it to make sure too colour contamination occurs before starting your project. Hot water in particular can make colours run, if in doubt use cool water and no soap/detergent.
