The Seafarer collection is a luxurious blend, equally suited to ethereal accessories or hardwearing garments. The yarn blends Exmoor Blueface, with its wonderful springy nature, Bluefaced Leicester, with its outstandingly soft handle, a dash of rustic Devon Closewool to keep those pills at bay, and Romney, to give a beautiful woolly halo. Finally a dash of Silk enhances the blends sheen and fine drape, creating something truly unique.

John Arbon textiles
The John Arbon Mill, based in South Molton, Devon is one of only a handful of small-scale worsted spinning mills still operating in the UK. John likes to use fibre from sheep on his doorstep whenever possible and, with the help of his team, transforms it into unique and sumptuous blends in the form of yarn and tops.
The Mill was started nineteen years ago, and is based on a very simple concept – a return to old-style textile manufacture by sustainably sourcing raw fibre locally, wherever possible, and converting it in the UK into high quality tops and yarns, rather than racking up air miles by chasing the cheapest available labour.
