Single session – Sunday 22nd March
In this intermediate patchwork and quilting workshop, you will learn to make a stunning ‘star' block using Half Square Triangles - the foundation of some of the most popular patchwork designs.
As this block will be machine pieced, you will need to be confident with using a sewing machine. Ideally, you will also be familiar with patchwork and quilting basics. You may, for instance, have previously attended the Beginner's Patchwork and Quilting Foundational Blocks workshop.
WHAT’S INCLUDED? All materials will be provided for you to create your first 'star' block, along with guidance for completing the Bright Star quilt - perfect for snuggling into on chilly evenings or gifting to someone special.

TUTOR: Karen has been teaching for nearly 40 years in secondary schools and in Higher Education. She fell in love with sewing as a child and has been designing and creating patchwork quilts for over 10 years.
REFRESHMENTS: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at each session.
