This is my first blog for Seam Haberdashery and It's taken me a long time to arrive at this point. I guess this online shop has been developing in my head for a few years now and it seems strangely exciting and scary at the same time that it's all ready to go.
As I write this, I'm looking out of my window into the garden that never stops growing and changing, inspiring me with colour, form and texture. The rain shower this morning has left water droplets sparkling and reflecting light as the sun continues to shine.
I hope you enjoy looking around the shop and I hope you find something that will inspire you to MAKE. I would also like you to write back to me with thoughts and ideas or ask any questions if you need help when you drop a stitch!!!
But most of all I hope you enjoy what you see and start to think about Fashion and Textiles as a more timeless and less throw away commodity.
