2 hour workshop: 15th October
DETAILS: During this workshop you will learn a range of jewellery making techniques and technical jewellery making vocabulary, including learning to make loops in wire, crimping and opening and closing jump rings. You will have access to a wide range of high-quality crystal, glass and gemstone beads and by the end of the workshop you will have had the opportunity to make a bracelet, necklace and earrings. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those wishing to expand on their existing jewellery making techniques.
WHAT’S INCLUDED? All beads and threading materials along with the use of jewellery making tools. You can bring your own beads if you wish, but there is no expectation for you to bring anything other than yourself.

TUTOR: Jean is an experienced jewellery designer and maker and has been making jewellery for years. She recently changed career direction, ending her time as a primary school teacher to focus full time on her successful jewellery business.
REFRESHMENTS: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at each session.
